Insys VT with a VOD Platform for Cracow Festival Office

September 11, 2020 — Dübendorf, Switzerland: Insys Video Technologies launched an OTT platform for the City of Cracow.  Play Kraków is a VOD platform based on the Insys VOD solution, which allows users to take part in many cultural events online by purchasing access to them via the platform. The Play Kraków operator was Cracow Festival Office.

– Cultural events are an integral part of our lives. This is evidenced by the multiplicity of projects and festivals that have been organized in Cracow for years at the highest world level. Now it is time to take the next step. Cracow Festival Office has been chosen by the City of Cracow to act as Play Kraków operator, thanks to which viewers from all over the country will be able to watch the best events straight from our city – says Izabela Helbin, director of the Cracow Festival Office. – The events organized here are open and available for everyone, but if music, literature, theatre, or movie enthusiasts will not be able to come to Cracow, we encourage them to participate digitally in Cracow’s cultural events through this platform – adds Helbin.

The Play Kraków project is based on the latest version of the Insys VOD platform. It is a complete and flexible solution addressed to organizations, which have a video library and wants to monetize this content by sharing it online. The platform offers users a modern interface and is enriched with various features such as geoblocking, recommendation, and content promotion mechanisms through dedicated lists, graphic, and video banners.

– The current situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the imposition of many sanitary restrictions related to the organization of events. Our solution, InsysVOD, meets customer requirements and allows to transfer all events to the virtual world – says Norbert Kaczmarek, Key Account Manager at Insys Video Technologies. – Play Kraków is available for users via mobile apps (Android and iOS) and through the web browsers, so users can watch chosen events on their favorite devices” – comments Kaczmarek.
