DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about new technologies. You will be implementing new, innovative solutions in our clients’ video streaming platforms and ensure their video content is delivered smoothly and securely.
What you will be doing:
- Actively participating in the creation and development of our products and our clients’ application systems (built mainly in the AWS cloud).
- Completing current tasks related to creating, managing, monitoring and developing applications and systems.
- Automating administrative and routine tasks in the systems.
- Monitoring and analysis of systems’ performance and capacity
- Creating technical documentation related to the deployed and maintained systems and updating the existing documentation.
- Collaborating closely with development teams and supporting them in the CD/CD processes & implementing new software versions.
- Solving incoming incidents as a 3rd line of support and maintaining 24/7 systems.
What we expect:
- Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation tools and describing infrastructure as code – IaaC.
- Python programming skills.
- Practical knowledge of Docker containerization, Kubernetes clusters.
- Good knowledge of version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
- Communicative English skills (you will be working with clients from all over the world)
- Formal technical/IT education.
- Being able to work independently and in an organized way.
- Good communication and cooperation skills, even during remote work.
- Positive, proactive attitude and focus on company development.
Even better if you also have:
- Experience with video processing and distribution (OTT)
- Knowledge of AWS (if you have a certificate, we would love to see it)
- C# programming skills
- Experience with Kubernetes or other tools for orchestrating container environments
- Knowledge of Ansible or other tools for deployment, configuration and management automation
- Practical professional experience as a Linux system (or Windows Server) admin.
- Practical experience in the administration of highly available relational databases, (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL) and document store databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Experience with systems operating with high availability and high SLA parameters
- Experience with high-performance systems that support public web applications for a wide range of recipients
- Experience with network technologies and network security.
